PLM and Letran Explore Potential Collaboration


The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) led by Director for Research, Assoc. Prof. Larry Padilla, and University Researcher, Ms. Editha S. Medina, accompanied by Dr. Aileen I. Atienza, Dean College of Science, Jennifer C. Sy, Associate Dean, Samuel C. Brillo, Chair of Biology Area visited Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila visited the Colegio for possible collaboration.

The primary objective of the visit was to explore a potential memorandum of agreement (MOA) and collaboration between PLM and Letran, encompassing facility usage, research collaboration, and faculty exchange among others. This initiative stemmed from a meeting on February 12, 2025, at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) between representatives from PLM and Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila.

The meeting explored potential partnerships, focusing on facility usage for PLM's College of Science students, collaborative research including gender and development projects, and Sustainable NSTP Projects. The Colegio is looking forward to cultivating academic and research collaborations and other opportunities that will benefit both academic institutions.
