The Virtual MOA Signing Ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando P. Jose, O.P., Rector and President, who served as signatory on behalf of the Colegio, with Prof. Danilo K. Villena, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, serving as witness. Also present were academic leaders and representatives from the Research and Publication Department, College of Education, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Psychology Program, and Political and Legal Studies Program.
Representing the partner institutions were Ms. Marilyn J. Ubasa, Affiliation Manager of CPLR, Inc., and the Livence Mental Health team led by Mr. Ron Gabriel A. Peji, DBA, RPm, LPT, MAPsy, FAAETS, Managing Director, together with Dr. Diane D. Lipat, RPm, RPsy, Supervising Psychologist.
The partnership with CPLR, Inc. opens opportunities for specialized training and competency development in legal research, paralegal practice, and related fields. Through industry-informed learning experiences, students and professionals may acquire targeted skills that can be recognized through micro-credentials, enhancing employability and career advancement.
Meanwhile, the collaboration with Livence Mental Health supports the development of micro-credential offerings and professional learning opportunities focused on mental health, psychological wellness, and human development. These initiatives aim to equip learners with practical competencies that respond to the growing demand for mental health awareness and support across various sectors.
The agreements reinforce Letran’s efforts to implement innovative learning pathways aligned with CHED Memorandum Order No. 1, Series of 2025, which promotes the adoption of micro-credentials in higher education. By integrating industry expertise with academic learning, the Colegio seeks to provide flexible, accessible, and competency-based educational opportunities that complement traditional degree programs.
Through these partnerships, Letran Manila continues to strengthen its role as a forward-looking educational institution committed to preparing learners for an evolving workforce while fostering professional excellence, lifelong learning, and holistic development.
