CLAS Researchers Present in Employee Symposium


Faculty Members from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences had presented their research papers in the third and last leg of the Arriba Employee Research Symposium held this July 7, 2021, 9:00AM-12:00NN. The event was sponsored by the Letran Manila Research and Publication Department (RPD).

Seven papers were presented with topics ranging from education, psychology, disaster management, and biology. These papers were funded by the Colegio last academic year through a research MOA, with this presentation being part of their obligations upon receiving the grant.

The researchers who had presented in the aforementioned event are as follows:

Asst. Prof. Jess Christian Beronio and Asst. Prof. Alethea Patricia del Castillo-Arenillo: “Pagdalumat sa Konsepto ng Paghihirap ng mga Mag-aaral na Nasa Unang Taon ng Colegio De San Juan De Letran-Manila”

Asst. Prof. Angeline Martha Beroin: “Perceptions, Attitudes, Anxieties and Turnover Intention of No Work No Pay Employees during the COVID-19 Enhanced Community Quarantine in Metro Manila.”

Asst. Prof. Geselle Manguiat-Borlongan: “Adapting the Substance-Use Risk Profile Scale for Filipino Adults”

Asst. Prof. Alethea Patricia del Castillo-Arenillo: “The Moderating Effect of Grit to the Impact of Work Family Conflict to Work Engagement of Work-from-Home Employees”

Asst. Prof. Sheryl Biscocho, PhD: “Disaster Risk Reduction in CSJL Campuses Manila and Bataan: Basis for Disaster Management Framework.”

Assoc. Prof. Glen Mangali, PhD: “Genotoxicity and Chromosomal Aberration of Environmental Mutagens and Antioxidant in Allium Cepa Assay”

 

This concludes the three-day Arriba Employee Research Symposium showcasing research projects completed last AY 2019-2020.
