The Letran Research Center had conducted a seminar-workshop for national and international publication for members of the collegiate departments last June 25-26, 2018 at the Balagtas Hall. This seminar-workshop aims to refine the skills of the faculty members in research writing with the aim of publication in national and international platforms. This event was attended by faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, College of Engineering and Information technology, and College of Education.
Led by Prof. Danilo K. Villena, PhD, the Dean of the College of Education, faculty members had revisited the process of writing and publication bearing in mind the apparent audience of their research papers. The first day of the seminar-workshop was dedicated to lectures and exercises while the last day was for presentation of their research proposals, to be evaluated by the Panel of Reactors.
Members of the panel of reactors include Prof. Villena; Asst. Prof. Glen Mangali, a faculty researcher of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; and Asst. Prof. Louie Ian Mariano, the Director of the Letran Research Center.
Successful proposals shall be subject to a more stringent concept paper presentation later in the school year for evaluation and, if successful, for approval.
