Asst. Prof. Glen Mangali of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a resident researcher of the Letran Research Center was installed as the Center’s In-House Consultant for Basic Education and Senior High School Faculty Members who are doing their researches.
The general role of the IHC is to ensure the quality of the researches produced by the Colegio through overseeing the researchers’ entire research process—from topic selection, proposal writing, actual conduct of research, preparation of the final write-up, paper revisions, to paper improvement aimed at national and international publication. The IHC serves as an on-call evaluator of outputs given by the researchers and helps the Center decide on which papers to accept or to revise.
Asst. Prof. Mangali finished both his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Biology and Master of Arts in Science Education major in Biology at the Philippine Normal University. He is now a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education with specialization in Biology in the same university. He is also a constant speaker in education related trainings sponsored by the Department of Education and the Letran Research Center Manila.
He shall be serving as the In-House Consultant until June 28, 2019.
