The partnership among the Intramuros Administration, the University of Santo Tomas, and Colegio de San Juan de Letran formalizes a collaborative framework for research, cultural heritage conservation, and tourism development.
Joining the Rector and President were Prof. Danilo K. Villena, Ph. D., Vice President for Academic Affairs; Asst. Prof. Louie Ian B. Mariano, MEN, Director of the Research and Publication Department; and Asst. Prof. John Carlo C. Timajo, MBA, Assistant Dean of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.
The University of Santo Tomas was represented by Rev. Fr. Dexter A. Austria, O.P., SThD, Regent of the UST Graduate School of Law; Atty. Jacqueline O. Lopez-Kaw, DCL, Dean of the UST Graduate School of Law; and Atty. Gezzex Giezi G. Granado, DCL, Dean of the UST College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Atty. Joan M. Padilla, Administrator of the Intramuros Administration, emphasized the agency’s support for initiatives advancing heritage conservation and sustainable tourism in Intramuros.
The ceremony was witnessed by representatives from partner institutions, government agencies, and industry stakeholders, reflecting a shared commitment to academic collaboration and sustainable tourism.
