The Research and Publication Department recently embarked on a benchmarking activity, visiting Saint Louis University’s University Research and Innovation Center, UP Baguio’s Cordillera Studies Center, and the University of the Cordilleras’ Innovation and Technology Transfer Office from January 6-8, 2025.
This initiative aimed to learn from the best practices of these esteemed institutions in research and development, with a particular focus on innovation and technology transfer, specifically examining IPO Management, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization Processes. Key areas of inquiry also included operational frameworks, intellectual property management processes, collaborative models with industries, and initiatives that promote sustainability and internationalization.
The benchmarking activity provided valuable insights into the research and development practices of these leading institutions, with a specific focus on IPO Management, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization Processes.The Research and Publication Department will analyze the findings and explore potential initiatives to enhance research capabilities and foster a more robust research culture within the Colegio.
