GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT AND LINKAGE
In line with Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila’s ongoing internationalization initiatives and efforts to strengthen global engagement, the Research and Publication Department, in coordination with the Basic Education Department and the Senior High School Department, recently conducted an initial meeting with Mr. Akira Hashimoto, Principal of Wako High School, Tokyo, Japan, together with members of their faculty.
The meeting served as a preliminary discussion to explore potential areas of collaboration between Letran Manila and Wako High School, particularly in the development of a proposed partnership focusing on cultural exchange and academic initiatives. Both institutions shared perspectives and discussed possible joint activities that may be considered in future plans, aimed at enhancing global academic engagement and enriching intercultural learning opportunities for students and faculty. This initial dialogue marks an important first step toward the possible establishment of a strong and mutually beneficial international partnership, subject to further discussions and formal agreements.
