Colegio de San Juan de Letran officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Techedify, marking the start of a partnership committed to preparing Letranites with the innovative and in-demand skills needed in the growing field of artificial intelligence.
Representing Letran during the ceremony were Prof. Danilo Villena, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Geraldine C. Lagmay, MBIED, LPT, Senior High School Principal; Mr. Christian A. Reyes, MBA, TVL Learning Area Coordinator; and Asst. Prof. Louie Ian B. Mariano, Director of the Research and Publication Department, along with Mr. Jayver Zignapan, Knowledge-Technology Transfer and Continuing Education Coordinator, and Mr. Dominic Sarip, Research Coordinator.
From Techedify, present were Ms. Shamane Tripolca, Head of Operations (Philippines), and Mr. Sammuel Sanclaria, Senior Software Engineer.
The agreement underscores both institutions’ commitment to fostering digital literacy and innovation by offering specialized micro-credential programs on Generative AI (GenAI). These programs are specifically catered to Senior High School students, ensuring they are industry-ready and proficient in the latest technological advancements.
This collaboration further strengthens the Colegio’s initiative to integrate academic excellence with industry-relevant certifications for the future of its students. |
