Letran Manila faculty researchers showcased their scholarly excellence at the 7th DLSAU International Multidisciplinary Research Conference, held online on January 27–28, 2026. Organized under the theme “Tech for Transformation: Driving Social and Environmental Impact,” the conference convened local and international scholars to exchange research-driven solutions addressing contemporary social, educational, technological, and environmental concerns.
Representing various academic units of the Colegio, the Letran Manila research faculty presented diverse studies spanning psychology, education, engineering, technology integration, gender studies, climate change education, and disaster preparedness. Their research contributions highlighted innovative pedagogical practices, learner-centered interventions, laboratory modernization through Internet-of-Things applications, and socially responsive research grounded in real-world contexts.
Notable presentations included studies on child-free Filipino married couples, gender-fair language in instructional materials, technology-enhanced learning through Google Classroom, bullying intervention strategies, and IoT-based safety systems during earthquakes—demonstrating the breadth and relevance of Letran Manila’s research agenda.
Highlighting the Colegio’s strong showing, Asst. Prof. Desiree Castillo Bisquera, MSPsy, RPm, LPT and Engr. Christian Arnel R. Alcantara were recognized as Best Presenters in their respective sessions, affirming the quality, clarity, and impact of their research dissemination.
The participation and recognition of Letran Manila faculty in this international conference underscore the Colegio’s continuing commitment to multidisciplinary research, academic excellence, and the pursuit of innovations that contribute meaningfully to society.
